Whole House Reverse Osmosis what do I need to know?

We do not offer whole house reverse osmosis systems as they are prohibitively expensive to install and maintain, and they waste a tremendous amount of water. In certain well water applications whole house reverse osmosis is the correct and only water treatment method that will make the water fit for use.

However, for the vast majority of households, it is absolutely unnecessary to waste 5-8 gallons of water per 1 gallon purified so that you can have pharmaceutical grade water in your toilet and laundry machine. So, instead we recommend reverse osmosis filtration for cooking and drinking water, and whole house filtration and/or softening which removes the troublesome or dangerous contaminants without wasting nearly as much water.
