I have been using the Mini Plus in the kitchen of my rental apartment for a few years. I live in an old building (built in1928) and our water is very dirty and I suspect it may have lead though I haven't tested. The mini plus is small and easy to install. It sits on my countertop next to my dish drain, and my water comes out of the tap, not from a separate device. Because our water is so dirty, I need to change the filter every 2 months which is very unusual. Even then it is more economical and easier than purchasing large jugs of water and lugging them to my place which I did before using the Mini Plus. Once I had a filter that did not screw in properly. The customer service was phenomenal. Friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Simple to change this filter

My hands are weak due to arthritis. I originally had the Home Master Jr, but I was not able to change the filter as the housing always sealed itself to the point that I would have to find a strong armed person to help me. I decided to try the mini, and I can easily change the filter on my own. The water tastes great.
