Perfect Water Technologies is proud to introduce the new Home Master Jr. F2 Elite. This advanced five stage counter top water filter removes up to 93%: dirt and rust; soluble metals like fluoride, aluminum, lead, iron, mercury, copper; chemicals like chloramines, chlorine, VOCs, THMs, and many pharmaceuticals (microcontaminants) that create foul tastes and odors in your tap water. Dissolved solids like calcium and magnesium minerals are not removed. The Home Master Jr. F2 Elite has special channel blockers to ensure even filtration and avoid problems found in other competitor's granular filters.
This Elite version of the Home Master Jr F2 adds new filtration media to treat the very persistent chemical contaminant - chloramine. If your city does not already use chloramines, they most likely will soon. Ordinary carbon filters are unable to remove this stubborn disinfectant. It takes a more advanced carbon known as Catalytic Carbon, and the redox media KDF85. However these two medias do far more than just remove chloramines. The KDF85 media will also remove soluble heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, and iron. Furthermore it will remove hydrogen sulfide and is bacteria-static creating a environment hostile to microorganism growth.
To maintain optimum fluoride filtration in your Home Master Jr. F2 Elite change the filter every 3 months or 500 gallons. Taste and odor purification will continue long after fluoride filtration has run out -- so please change your filter regularly.

I Love It!???????????????????? I wanted a small sink top water purifier in my small space, yet It needed to efficiently work consistently to purify from many major contaminants. I loved that the Home Master Jr Elite Filtration system did just that! It removes 93% of Chloramines, fluoride, pesticides & herbicides, aluminum, lead & much much more! It does much more than any Faucet filters that I saw on the market. And the filters are very reasonably priced and last! I use it not only for drinking water, but for safely rinsing my fruits & vegetables without worrying about contaminants. The water tastes clean and so much healthier than using bottled water! And it looks great on my countertop/sink area!

Spent many months researching basic water filter systems. Last attempt to gain convincing data required calling a manufacturer (Perfect Water)in an attempt to simplify my decision making process. CSR pushed a R/O system which I was almost sold on until I watched the installation video which I was told to watch prior to deciding and saw installation required drilling into existing plumbing. WHAT... I said I was renting an apartment... that should have eliminated that option off the bat!
I decided to keep things simple and decide to buy HomeMaster's F2 Elite countertop unit. Just hooked it up today. Suggest running unit for up to 20 mins to flush out filter for use! After flushing filter. water clarity was decidedly better w/out chemical testing!
I strongly suggest trying to open casing to replace prior to testing unit. It took the use of a towel and vice grip to open casing!!!!(This explains customers not able to replace filter. PLEASE OPEN CASING PRIOR TO TESTING UNIT!
At this point, very pleased w/the quality of this product!

Wonderful water filter that does just what I needed. I was looking for a fluoride filter. Understandably, it does not filter out 100 percent of the fluoride, but it definitely reduces it considering no other filter does this except for a RO filter which are incredibly expensive. The building I live in has very rusty water as well and this filter provided a 'fix' for that. The water tastes wonderful and anyone who comes over to my apartment and drinks it has said the same thing. The installation is very easy as it hooks right up to the faucet in literally no time. You just have to make sure you measure the faucet size as you might need to buy a separate faucet adapter if the one they provide does not fit your faucet. However, the adapters are incredibly cheap and can be purchased at any plumbing or hardware store. I had a few separate occasions where I needed information about changing the filter and I immediately got a customer service rep on the phone and they were incredibly polite and helpful with their responses.
If you're looking for a filter that will reduce fluoride and essentially eliminate many other contaminants, I highly recommend this one.

I live in New York City where water is "supposed" to be safe to drink, according to local authorities. However, even though the water might be free of parasites, viruses and bacteria, the chlorine levels are atrocious! Just fill a glass of water from the tap in NYC and for the first 30 seconds it will look white, like you added a few spoons of milk to it. I always bought spring water or used pitcher filters, until I decided to try this little filter. There are tons of counter top filters like this one, but this is the only one that actually reduces fluoride as well. Installing the filter took about 2 minutes, seriously...and has excellent water pressure and the water tastes pretty good. We use filtered water for everything except washing dishes and my chronic nausea disappeared after only one month of use. God knows what kind of sediment was in the water that was making me sick. I have seen countless doctors for over 3 years and they couldn't find a cause. I know that the filter really eliminates chlorine and fluoride because I use filtered water on my orchids and lucky bamboo plants and I could only use bottled water on those plants before because the chlorine and fluoride present in tap water would make their leaves turn yellow and wilt. This is an excellent filter for the price. After a few weeks it pays itself in a household like mine with several people who drink lots of water and cook everyday, because you don't have to buy water anymore.
