The Perfect Water | Clean, refreshing water - FAST

Home Master® HydroPerfection® with Permeate Pump uses nine stages of filtration, purification, and enhancement to remove up to 99% of iron, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, chloramines, chemicals, heavy metals, fluoride, (TDS) total dissolved solids, pharmaceuticals, microplastics, and thousands of other contaminants. Also, the type of dissolved iron commonly found in well water would destroy the reverse osmosis membrane without the IRON pre-filter protecting it. The HydroPerfection’s superior iron pre-filter, contains an advanced redox media KDF85 that acts as a catalyst to help it remove dissolved iron from the water. Additionally, this mixed media pre-filter uses powerful catalytic carbon filtration to better filter chemicals like chloramines chlorine, herbicides and pesticides. The Cold UV LED sterilization chamber is always on guard and safely destroys 99.99% of germs, viruses, bacteria, and other microorganisms without dispensing hot water at the faucet, and without any gaps in sterilization. This all results in exceptionally pure, refreshing, great-tasting water.

All Home Master RO systems use powerful catalytic carbon filtration media in the carbon prefilter to treat the very persistent chemical disinfectant chloramine. Ordinary carbon filters are unable to effectively remove this stubborn contaminant that is now being deployed nationwide to replace chlorine. It takes the more advanced carbon media known as catalytic carbon. Many tankless RO systems use imported ‘loose’ style membranes which can only achieve up to 94% reduction in total dissolved solids including heavy metals. Those membranes are intentionally loosely wound to allow for more flow, sacrificing purity to compensate for not having a storage tank. Home Master uses only the highest quality American made Dow 0.0001 micron RO membranes which can achieve up to 98% reduction in total dissolved solids including heavy metals. Most RO systems produce demineralized water that is highly pure but slightly acidic. When the acidic water sits in the storage tank, the acidic water attacks the rubber bladder and dissolves some of it. This is known as storage tank degradation and it affects the taste of the water. Home Master HydroPerfection prevents this from occurring with its patented Full Contact® remineralization system. This system balances the water’s pH level at two different points of the purification process. The first point of remineralization occurs when the water travels to the storage tank; the second occurs when the water travels to the faucet. At both remineralization points, small amounts of calcium and magnesium minerals (30-60 mg/l combined) are added through a natural process. This helps prevent storage tank degradation and makes the water slightly alkaline, resulting in the best tasting water you will ever have, guaranteed or your money back.

Modular Filter Design | Beautiful, not pretty

The most significant problem associated with traditional RO systems is the ‘canister filter housing’ design, where only the filters are changed, and not the filter housings. Sediment, microorganisms and biofilm can accumulate in the canisters and, over time, the canisters will weaken, begin to leak and ultimately fail. This can potentially lead to serious water damage and costly home repairs.

Some tankless RO systems employ a solid manifold design that is impractical to upgrade or service. Home Master’s innovative system uses a modular design where the components are exposed and the ‘all-in-one’ filters are incorporated into their housings. This makes annual filter changes fast and efficient, reduces microorganism and biofilm build-up and helps to eliminate leaks. Home Master filters last longer than traditional RO systems’ filters — only requiring a filter change once a year or every 2,000 gallons. When it comes to installation, service and system performance – Home Master’s modular design is beautiful.

Save Time, Money & Water | Improved water efficiency

Home Master Systems use granular carbon in the pre-filter rather than of carbon block to ensure the water pressure stays as strong as possible. Stronger water pressure to the membrane produces more water with less waste. Compare Home Master’s 8.5 inches of carbon contact time with the competition’s thin wall carbon block. More carbon contact produces cleaner water.

Some tankless RO systems fail to use a dedicated sediment pre-filter filter, forcing the entire sediment load into their carbon block which can slow membrane production, increase waste, maintenance requirements and costs. All Home Master RO systems use a dedicated 5-micron depth sediment pre-filter to prolong overall filter life, and ensure the highest possible water efficiency.

New for 2024 - Cold UV

For 2024 Home Master introduces an LED UV sterilizer that is more effective than chlorine in eliminating viruses – without using harmful chemicals and without heating the water. It's on guard at all times, to ensure every drop of water is safely sterilized. As the water enters the UV sterilization chamber, it’s bombarded with intense light waves (254um). This light penetrates the cell wall of the microorganisms, attacking their DNA, rendering 99.99% dead or unable to reproduce. The EPA has recognized UV technology as one of four approved water sterilization methods, and it is the preferred method due to its instant results. UV sterilizer operates for a full year at 17,000-mws/cm. The Home Master UV sterilizer is registered under EPA #97952-AZ-1, and has been approved to kill, inactivate, or suppress growth of germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms in the water. Standard 110v outlet required for UV functionality.

Home Master Does It Better | Better water efficiency, faster flow rate, reduced TDS creep

The Home Master Fast Flow RO! Kit and non-electric permeate pump solve several problems commonly found in other RO systems: TDS Creep, slow flow rate, and poor water waste. Home Master Fast Flow RO! Kit nearly doubles the flow rate by incorporating larger fittings, tubing and other high flow components. We’ve included a non-electric permeate pump with the HydroPerfection to further improve system efficiency. This device reduces water waste by up to 80% and increases water production by up to 50%, for about a 1:1 waste to pure ratio. It allows the tank to fill fuller, plus, it provides slightly cleaner water by virtually eliminating a condition known as -TDS Creep – a significant issue with some tankless RO systems. TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids which are all the hardness minerals, salts, heavy metals. The included permeate pump from Home Master addresses issues of TDS Creep by boosting pressure during the fill cycle, and keeping pressure to the storage tank and permeate side of the membrane constant. We increase efficiency by regulating the flow of water on both sides of the system – feed water and permeate water. Furthermore, because our storage tank keeps purified water on tap, wasteful flushing is not necessary between common periods of inactivity.

Customer Reviews

Water tastes great! Get the minerals we need and water pressure fills everything quickly.
Product Review
We have had the Home masters reverse osmosis system for two years now. We love the taste of the water! Especially like knowing that it puts back the minerals we need after the water has been purified. The pump fills any container very quickly. I recently had a question related to my installation, they answered on the first ring and were very helpful. I would highly recommend this product.

So glad that I did

There are rare occasions when you make a decision on something with a guarded degree of expectation and then you get blown away by that expectation exceeded beyond what you could have imagined. This purchase was one of those rare blessings. My family was essentially forced by our "new" awful water company Veolia, into a water treatment system because of the sudden, pollution and corruption of our once great water. Veolia began dumping huge amounts of chlorine or chloromine (they didn't know which) into our water to the point that it was undrinkable or unusable for human or animal consumption. It was literally like drinking public swimming pool water. After researching water treatment systems extensively, I settled on taking the plunge on the Home Master TMPH system. As previously stated, after the very simple installation process that was guided by their video instructions, the releif of having excellent water again without any chemical pollution via Veolia water poisoners, was wonderful. No more chlorine or chloromine, YAY! The peace of mind that these and other toxins being removed and the water being UV cleaned was great. The water flow from the system is great. I am so pleased with the purchase, the installation process and the end result of having great quality water again has indeed made this choice of water filtration systems one of the most satisfying purchases that I can remember making. So glad I did.

There is a reason they named their company 'The Perfect Water'... because it's what they do.
Product Review
After significant research in my quest for pure, safe water and clear ice, the data and reviews on the Home Master TMHP system made my final purchase decision easy. A month after installation I’m completely satisfied and thrilled with the performance of this system.

I previously had an older GE system with the typical membrane and canister style filters. Every 6 months ‘painful’ filter changes and poor performance drove me to find a better solution.

My first path was to go with a Pelican combination whole house filter and salt free water softener. My plumber and others said whole house filter was the way to go for pure water and clear ice, not so much. Even Pelican suggested RO was not needed with the whole house filter. While I’m pleased with the Pelican system, the water is indeed soft and clean throughout my home, my faucets don’t accumulate scale and no more itching skin from the massive amount of chlorine they put in the hard water here in Arizona. However, it is not the solution for pure drinking water and clear ice.

Installation of the Home Master system was easy. If you’re somewhat handy, Perfect Water’s installation instructions and videos provide all you need to complete the project yourself. The color coded tubing takes the guesswork out of connecting the tubing in the system, genius when you compare that to other systems with all white tubing. All connections are easy to use ‘push-to-connect’ fittings, the installation instructions reiterate often to insure you push the tubing firmly into the fittings and then pull the tubing to insure connection. If you do this properly there will be no leaks.

Performance, simply superb! When you consider my source (feed) water comes in at ~430 ppm and exits the Home Master system at ~25 ppm, the numbers don’t lie. However, check out my attached images and you will see that pictures tell the rest of the story. I can tell you the water tastes amazing, as well as my coffee and iced tea, however seeing the picture of the Home Master produced ice beside the pre-RO ice will also convince you why the Home Master system should be your choice. The facts on ‘clear ice’….

While my particular clear ice results are truly dramatic, you need to know that pure water alone does not produce truly clear ice. Cloudy ice results from 2 things, impure water and how the ice is produced. Typical icemakers in refrigerators produce ice by freezing the water from the outside, in. Through this process there will always be trapped gasses pushed to the center of the cube. For perfectly ‘clear’ ice you need pure water and a ‘clear’ ice maker. These machines freeze the water in layers freezing water from the inside, out. The result is perfectly clear, harder ice that lasts longer and makes your drinks taste amazing. These are the ice machines most restaurants use. I have one on my list, maybe one day, they are expensive.

Another major selling point for me on the Home Master was the fact that you only change the filters annually and according to what I see in my system and what I’ve read, it will be easy.

I also took maintenance of the system one step further by installing HM Digital’s TRM-1 Triple TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) monitor. Installation of the TRM-1 was easy, turn off the feed water supply valve and drain the storage tank to eliminate system pressure (I also unplugged the UV filter for safety). Buy a plastic tubing cutting tool (about $10.00) to insure straight tube edges for the fittings. Insert the probe tees inline where you desire to monitor TDS, it should be feed water (1/4” orange tube), post membrane (1/4” black tube) and final product water 3/8” blue tube). I also called Perfect Water and asked where I should connect the 3 monitors, their customer service department is awesome, told me how to do it and sent me a diagram.
As always insure proper tubing connection in the fittings and turn your feed supply on to refill your tank and resume operation. By monitoring post membrane you can also calculate your membrane rejection rate, mine is currently operating at 97%, just as Perfect Water states in the product description (up to 98%). Online research says membranes should be replaced when rejection rate falls below 75% to 80%.

This triple monitor tells me my TDS in the feed water, post membrane and post Artesian filter for the final product water. Just as the Perfect Water folks describe in FAQ’s, the post membrane water PPM in my system is about ~15 ppm and then post Artesian product water is ~25 ppm. They add minerals back to the water which results in higher ppm, however this also produces GREAT tasting water. Ideal drinking water falls in the 1-50 ppm range and is achieved from reverse osmosis, microfiltration, etc. While Perfect Water recommends annual filter changes the monitor also allows me to see when filter performance deteriorates, so maybe I change them sooner or maybe they last a little longer? Quick note on the HM Digital monitor; if you search it online you will find it comes with either 1/4” or 3/8” inline tees. The Home Master system has both 1/4” and 3/8” tubing so you will need to order the monitor with 2-1/4” tees and 1-3/8” tee. The probes that connect to the tees are all 1/4”. The fine folks at HM Digital solved that issue for me.

So, what are you waiting for? Click that order button and you also will be writing a 5 star review on the amazing Home Master TMHP.

Update 8-30-17: Six weeks after installation the system is humming along flawlessly producing amazing, great tasting water and ice. May I also compliment the support department at The Perfect Water.
